TIM CASSWELL

Since 1985 I have been an Independent Coach, Consultant and Facilitator Founder of Creative Connection consultants and the School of Unknowing

Key specialisms:
•Executive Team Coaching, enhancing the quality, creativity and vitality of working relationships
•Transformative Conferencing, facilitating large group processes.
•Leadership development and corporate culture strategies

As an executive team coach I employ a wide range of approaches depending on your goals. The starting point is always the end that the you are aiming for. I encourage you to use creative techniques to explore your vision, blocks, and underlying contradictions and when you plan projects and programmes I try to ensure that the means you are using are the most effective and least costly. My aim is to build on the experience and wisdom of the team so that there is an increased capacity within the team to develop and maintain enhanced vitality over the long term. Team building and team maintenance can be essentially effortless if the analysis and interventions are accurate. In very senior teams there are additional pressures and forces in play which makes the challenge of team building greater.

I believe it is important to create a team that works with the real characters that make up the team and not to try to impose some ideal structure. Every team is unique with a different structure, different processes, skill sets, and decision making procedures. When I work with senior teams I listen closely to what the members want and enable each person to see how they can work towards this vision, respecting and valuing diversity and at the same time challenging habitual beliefs and behaviours.

In Leadership Development I focus on your particular qualities and develop your natural strengths to meet the particular challenge of the particular group of people you need to work with. I am developing an interest in the power of working with story, one of the most powerful forces in our lives. All characters are transformed when the story in which they are acting is changed. Working with this element can deliver extraordinary results with minimalist interventions.
